I loved how easy the transition of her settling in and getting right to work was. We talked about how I wanted to breastfeed and worked out a plan for the first night. At the time, our daughter had an NG feeding tube due to a heart defect impeding her weight gain, thus requiring extra care and consideration during feedings. She also had a bad case of reflux. As you can imagine, our exhaustion and stress were considerably high.
